"I Have a Dream" Analysis

Here are the instructions for the "I Have a Dream" Analysis assignment that will be due on 05/08/15.

• Watch Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. A transcript of the speech can be found here if you would like to read along.

• Answer the following questions on a separate sheet of paper:
• 1. How did Martin Luther King’s presentation change when he started talking about his dream?
• 2. Find a quote in the speech that shows that Martin Luther King believed in non-violence.  Write the quote.
• 3. In your own words, what does Martin Luther King want the people listening to do?
• 4. What is your dream for the future?
